Philips SensoTouch 3D Electric Shaver Review

Shaving can be a pain in the epidermis. Everyone knows it. Whether its irritation after the shave, or the small accidental cuts, or even the missed hairs in the crevices of the face, shaving can have its downsides and struggles. For decades now, industries have been trying to improve the shaving technologies for us men. The simple manual razor was thrown out the window recently with the new and improved electrical shavers (I myself am a veteran of both). After the electrical razors came out, the improvement on them quickly began. From longer lasting batteries, to more versatile razors, greater number of blades, a flexible joint at the end of the handle and beginning of the razor itself (to go after those hard spots), and the list goes on. However, for most men (and myself), the problems persist. There is still the occasional burn, the missed spots, and the much too early five-o-clock shadow. For years my wife has been asking me "didn't you just shave?" and my answer is always the same. However, I have recently made a discovery in the razor market that will keep both my wife and I happy and content with my face. The Philips Shaver, more commonly known as the SensoTouch 3D Electric Shaver. I decided to give it a try after seeing a commercial and then happening upon it while shopping. Here, I will give you the full details of what it is, what makes it different and why I now refuse to ever go back to any other shaver. Period

This philishave product has transformed my entire shaving experience. To really understand how and why, let me first give you the technical explanation of the razor. In first appearance the SensoTouch 3D shaver is a dark, sleek and durable looking piece of machinery. It is easy to plug in, insert into the charger, and to use. It has three round razors strategically placed to precisely follow the curves of the face. The metal parts are sealed to slow rusting and the high quality material that the entire shaver is made of, keeps it from cracking, breaking, or eroding due to water damage. I have personally experienced the durability of the product during shaving when, because of my slippery hands, I dropped the razor on my bathroom tile. It bounced and then lay there, unharmed at my feet as though nothing has occurred. The sleek, manly look that the shaver has makes me proud to have it on display on the sink counter. It's designed to be classy, sophisticated and to function as well as it looks.
On that note, what makes this product the best of its kind? First of all, its design is not simply to look good. The razor has 3D contouring and pivot ability that allows it to reach and touch every single angle of the face and neck. No when I say "every single angle", I do mean it. Whether it's the curve of the neck at the base of the chin, or the sharp turn of the mandible bone, this razor gets in, does the job and gets out as seamlessly as a ninja. The blades appear to be situated on top of soft rubber, so as the blade contours to the outline of the face it does not cause any irritation. In other words, the razors are so well designed that, no extra pressure is needed on my side to get all the hairs, thus reducing the irritability that appears due to a harsh shave. The razors are also designed to handle facial hair of different lengths. It has combined channels for the longer and then small slots for the shorter, stubbier hair. So with a single sweep of the shaver, you can get rid of long, short, thick and thin hair. The biggest problem for me, are not necessarily the long or the short hair but the tiny little hairs (the stubble) that have just started to poke their heads from under my skin.
The SensoTouch 3D Shaver can even handle this little problem of mine; (The stubble) You may notice small holes within the razor design, these are specially placed to catch the tiny stubble hairs that a normal razor would completely miss. And of course, one has to ask, what about dry shaving? Usually, with most razors, a dry shave is nowhere close (pardon the pun) to the quality of a wet shave. Without the lubricant of water and shaving cream, you can almost guarantee irritation and cuts. However, this is not the case with the SensoTouch 3D. While traveling a few months ago, I dry shaved with this razor three times a week and got exceptional and smooth results each time.
The most important thing regarding the care of your shaver is the cleaning process. The Senso Touch 3D Shaver comes with a jet cleaning system that leaves the razor and the entire shaver essentially as good as new after each shave. I love this feature, as it of course means longer life for your shaver and more value for your money.
The SensoTouch, unlike another electric shaver you may encounter, is affordable and certainly worth whatever you spend on it. For my Philips Shaver, I spent less than £200.00 and that was almost a year ago. Needless to say, I still have the shaver and it works just as well as the day I first got it. So, with the amazing design, the exceptional functioning there is no reason why every guy shouldn't own this one of a kind shaver.
